Laura E. Bange

Ms. Bange focuses her practice on employment law, professional liability defense, premises liability, and insurance coverage matters.

Representative Accomplishments

Ms. Bange recently persuaded a panel of the Massachusetts Appeals Court to affirm summary judgment dismissing an employment retaliation lawsuit related to a workers’ compensation claim. In an insurance coverage case, she recently obtained a significant victory for a large commercial insurer by persuading an arbitration panel to reject a claim for $1 million of insurance coverage. She has successfully obtained dismissal orders in a variety of cases, including persuading a U.S. District Court judge to dismiss a personal injury claim in a premises liability case, and a Massachusetts Superior Court judge to dismiss a lawsuit alleging negligence, misrepresentation and breach of contract because the complaint was filed beyond the statutory deadline.

Professional and Civic Affiliations

Ms. Bange is member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association. She is a volunteer at the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA). Ms. Bange also volunteers with Boston Cares, a community services organization.
